Social Entrepreneurship Foundation

Impact needs entrepreneurial structure.

The Social Entrepreneurship Foundation supports entrepreneurial solutions to social challenges in Ghana and West Africa. Its projects are impact-oriented and deliberately not aimed at maximising profit.

Together with partners on the ground we develop projects that carry themselves and show impact that can be evidenced. Concrete rather than vague, among equals rather than from above.

We develop projects that partners on the ground carry and operate.

01

Partners, not recipients

Ghana finances and operates. We develop and steer. People act, they do not receive.

02

Impact-oriented

Not aimed at maximising profit, but at impact that can be evidenced.

03

Concrete, not vague

Container, district, location, date. No promises without evidence.

Health

Health containers

PPP with the Ghana Health Service

The Ghana Health Service operates the containers, from staffing and licensing to clinical operations. The Foundation is responsible for equipment and infrastructure. Care in rural districts, set up to deliver impact.

Impact shows when a project keeps running without us.

The Foundation is clearly separated from commercial vehicles. Commercial ventures stay outside the Foundation, in law and in brand.

Stewardship and steering.

Responsible stewardship

Thurn und Taxis Consulting AG develops and steers the Foundation.

Compliance first

An anti-corruption framework drawn from German, Ghanaian and international law. Public officials receive no personal benefits.

Transparent remuneration

The steering work is remunerated through an open management fee.

Would you like to work with us, support a project or find out more?
